Best yellow curry I have had in a long time I really enjoyed the food it was amazing and they have a great lunch special

We had dinner here at the recommendation of a local Cave Creek resident. It was delightful! The food is fresh and tasty, and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. Several people came in and picked up orders to go, but it is a nice sit down dining experience with a full bar as well.. The owner, Z, stopped by our table to visit with us. She is smart and funny, and truly wants to satisfy her customers. If you want more ginger or other spice, let her know and she will accommodate!

Great service. Food was pretty good. I got the spicy basil fried rice, friends got red curry and pad thai.

Great food and people were wonderful and welcoming. The Yellow Curry with Chicken is delicious! The portions are generous and the house white wine is very nice. A definite new staple for me, whether dine in or take out.

The food here is spectacular! I've lived and worked in Asia and the food was never as good as Z"s. The service was top notch. I and my family felt like royalty. Z's offers a wide variety of excellent Asian cuisine and their service is outstanding! Want great food and service? Go to Z's.

Food was great. Wished they had told us of daily specials, I would have ordered that but when we saw them on a chalk board it was to late

Outstanding service and quality. Had Drunken Noodles. Right on the money and the lunch portion was huge. My friend's wife is Thai and he dines here regularly and recommended it. Thai ice tea was exceptional here as well!

My boyfriend and I went in, waitress was not able to give us a drink as she had to run back. 20 mins later, there’s a guy waiting for his food order and states has been waiting 30 mins for his to go order, no one has taken our food or drink menu either and only one table with people. We tried to talk to the owner but her justification for all of that was that she was in Thailand and had just gotten back and one of the waiter’s first day of work. Overall bad experience. Needless to say, we love Thai food and will not be recommending nor going back to this place.

This place is incredible. Awesome atmosphere number 1. Number 2, the food is insanely good and they will prepare it the way you want. Number 3, they have ice cold Asahi and Sapporo on tap for 5 bucks a mug (that is unheard of). Finally and most importantly, have you ever met Z? She is a super dynamic, easy to talk to, sophisticated and stunning woman. Gotta go there!

Food is good, cooked to order very well. Prices are a little high for locals, but not overpriced..persay. The restaurant is quiet on most days, but can be packed on holiday and events.

Absolutely a place worth trying, the food is excellent and fresh, the costs are convenient and it is constantly well kept there. Kudos.

I asked Why My drunken noodlez didn't have vegetables? When you add chicken you don't get both!!! ..... My hubby's dish there was a $6 added charge for shrimp, waitresses should inform you of this.... Had to ask several times for refills, we were told sauces came with the meal to add spice, we never saw any, they were not offered to us....service wasn't good, they weren't busy... Over priced, I Won't return....

First time here. We had always heard about Z's Asian Fusion but never made it there. This is the same owner and I'm guessing the menu is too. Lots of menu choices. We were there for lunch, not busy, so the service was very fast. The owner (very nice lady) came out to greet us. She ask if we had been there before and went over the menu and answered all our questions.

Loved the food! Glad we ordered the Eggplant special, it was full of flavor! We also had the Green Curry (my favorite) and the Drunken Noodles - both were fabulous! Highly recommend Z's!

I just love the food at Z's. Awesome Thai food. Authentic flavors. My favorites are chicken panang, naked garlic chicken, and drunken noodles with shrimp. My step daughter is vegetarian and Z can make all the dishes for her. Lucky to have this place in Cave Creek.

Well I went here last August and here was my experience. Service was extremely slow and there was only one other table, we waited over an hour and a half for four dishes and an appetizer... To make it worse the scallops for my yellow curry were over cooked and overall it wasn’t that flavorful. When I mentioned this the owner apologized but did not offer to remake them or discount our meal. Then a woman from the other table fell due to the leg in her chair breaking! There are Thai restraints in the valley that are much tastier and affordable so we won’t be returning!

Amazing tasty Thai food

The food was ok not the best Thai I have ever had. The service however was awful. We waited so long to get drinks and help. People came in after us and said to the waitress they were ready to order and was completely ignored. Probably not a place I will go back to again.

I've been coming here for several years and it never disappoints. The food is consistently good, atmosphere is great, and makes good takeout as well. Z is super nice and makes the most authentic Thai food in town and we're fortunate to have it so close.

A little hard to see from the road, but definitely worth the effort. Great ambiance, spicy curry, and friendly service. 👍

Delicious food! The coconut shrimp, pad Thai, and drunken noodles were all fantastic! Service was very friendly and prices were reasonable. Definitely will be returning!

Unexpected find in Cave Creek. I had the Panang Curry and it was delicious! Nice bar with a good selection too. I'll be back!

Very slow service. Bland fried rice with chicken. Thai stir fry with beef was more flavorful, but quite small portion. It was not busy.

Great place thats kind of tucked away in Cave Creek.The owner is really a sweet woman that is personal and really does care about customers and their feedback.Great food and drinks.One of my favorite places to stop by and get appetizers and a drink after work. Especially so when the weather is nice and you can chill on the patio.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Stay away from here if you want any kind of good service. I waited 1 1/2 hours for food after we were seated. Had reservations. My food never came so I canceled the order. Stay away. The food cannot be worth this terrible service.

Went today for lunch and the food was really good. Pad thai was great, pad see ew was well flavored, the yellow curry was perfect. The patio looks really nice but we sat inside and it is well decorated and comfortable. I like the spice already in the food but it's nice because they put it on the side. The spicy sauce is incredible. I'm used to red chili oil but this is a fresh made sauce of serrano and thai chilis. Chicken satay was good and came with a really good peanut sauce. Reasonably priced. Z and the ladies in the back were very sweet with my 6mo daughter. Cant wait to take my wife at night, hang on the patio, and get some thai cocktails.

Just moved here from downtown Chicago where there is a Thai restaurant on almost every block. We found our new Thai restaurant! Amazing Yellow Curry with Rotie bread! Excellent service. Gracious owner/host.

Had a great dinner and bottle of wine Saturday night at Z's. The Drunken Noodles with chicken and Thai Basil were really good. Service was very welcoming and accomodating. Great experience. Be back again with a big group in November. Thanks.

I recently returned from a trip through Thailand and have been craving some authentic Thai food. I found it! The drinks are well crafted with Thai themes in mind and the menu has a phenomenal array of delicious apps, sides and entrées. The owner, Z, made me a custom green curry that was just what I was looking for, extra spicy of course! Definitely worth the drive out there, and I'll be back!

Great food!!! If you are ready to hunker down with a bottle of wine and spend an hour and a half to two hours...awesome place. If you are in. Hurry, order take out. Seating was a bit cramped, but it is a small place and they did thier best with the space they had. We will be going back.

Z''s House of Thai is a special place whose food offers an amazing combination of flavors. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. The menu is well thought out and shares family recipes that go back generations! The staff greets you with warm, sincere smiles, and they offer thoughtful and friendly service. I highly recommend you stop by, treat yourself, and indulge!

its the second time i order from them the soup cost 15 $ and it's all broth and 2 piece of shrimp and 2 clams + doesn't taste good. btw i waited 15 + minutes

Whenever I'm in Cave Creek I make it a priority to have lunch at Z's House of Thai. I should try other dishes on the menu, but the Drunken Noodles are so good that I want to order them every time. The egg rolls are the best that I've ever had, too. They are so crisp that I always order extra so I can take some home. I'm so glad that I found Z's. It is truly authentic Thai food and I just wish I didn't live so far away.

Very VERY poor experience. Visited last night for a birthday dinner to celebrate with the family.The place was not busy and we waited over 45 minutes for the first food to arrive with no excuse or apology as to the reason for its delay. It appeared as if no one was in a hurry, nor cared, about our service. 2 people appeared to "work" there and disappeared often into the back - perhaps they were the cooks too?Another customer seemed to have waited longer than us for a take-out order and had negative words with the staff upon his departure. The remainder of our food finally arrived within 60 minutes from ordering and did in fact taste great - just sorry the service was so EXTREMELY terribleI am sure this is not norm as all of my friends rave about this place, however the owner needs to be aware of what goes on there in their absence.

Awesome service and food! I came here late on a cold night wanting soup as they were closing. The owner was so amazing! She stayed and cooked my meal for me! It's rare to find this level of customer service anymore and I wish her the very best with her restaurant. I will be back with my friends and family, make sure you bring yours! :)

I like this place a lot. It has a very special spirit. The cuisine is very tasty. the service is efficient and the personel is polite. The price is modest. I definitely recommend.

The best, my favorite meal in Cave Creek. Small Tom Ka soup and side Jasmine and Brown rice. Deliciousness.

This is my first time coming here and the service was awesome! I talked to the owner and their food is all authentic Thai food; recipes she got from her grandparents! I’m half Japanese, so I’ve been searching for good, tasteful, authentic Asian cuisine and the food definitely reached beyond my expectations. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real, traditional, delicious Thai food!

Z’s is a small but homey establishment with great service! The owner walks around and talks to the customers herself and all the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The food itself is really good too! The crab puffs are incredible and the egg rolls are perfectly crispy. 10/10 recommend this place for an easy but nice night out.

We were a group of 8 and had many different dishes to try. I thought most were quite good and flavourful. The curries were nice and had good spices to them. Dumplings and Pad Thai were just ok. It is a cute location and It’s ok but not out of this world. I would go back again

Absolutely delicious Thai food. We are huge fans of this cuisine and seek it out all of the world. Z is among the best Thai chefs we've found. I must give a caveat though. The service is awful. There doesn't seem to be someone actually acting as a front of house manager. Z tries to do it all with not enough help, especially in these times of carry out only. So, factor lots of extra time into getting some yummy food from there. The wait is worth it IF you are expecting it.

Monday evening and busy night. Her friends were helping wait tables which are good friends. Thank you as you were great. Appetizers were good but could've been cooked a bit longer. Main dish on both our parts came out like warm to cold. Have been to many Thai restaurants and would have to say that this one is wanting. She was the only cook and I feel that she was overwhelmed by how busy it got. Has potential, maybe Monday's are a bad night to go. Will give another chance but on a different night. Rating will go either up or down depending upon if this instance was isolated or is the norm.

Absolutley love Thai food and this place is small but has so much to offer. Excellent food and service, the view is amazing and I love the fact that it's a small business and the owners are on-site and very friendly. Worth a visit, especially if you like Thai food.

We had a wonderful lunch. Food was delicious with friendly prompt service. It's good to ask questions about portion sizes. The salad rolls are served "sushi" style and one roll is enough for two people to share.
